Meet Our Team, (2 legs and 4)!

The team behind the scenes here at Stones Cottage Farm range from 2 to 4 legs! The humans do the admin, the cleaning, the marketing, the meet and greet, but the animals here also make it really special. Visitors and guests are able to interact directly with most of our animals – especially on the farmyard, in the gardens, or at any of the gates.

The humans! The owner is Emma, (the farm and cottage owner, general dogs body, author and builder of this site), and my 2 children Adam and Amy. We have lived here since 2012 now. Behind the scenes we also have cleaning staff, accountant, and financial advisor, (we may manage silly photos in due course!).

The animals! We have a really interesting mix of animals here – goats, sheep, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, ducks, quail, chickens, and we work with animal charities and support rescue cats. All the cats we have on site are from animal rescue charities and all were very unlikely to be homed into a residential setting. These animals now have access to and live outdoors and in the barns. Guests and visitors are a massive help as it socialises them. Some love to come sit with you, others to play, and all love a treat or two if you sit on the bench on the farmyard.
