I want to book add-ons to my stay

I want to book the EV charging facility

We have 1 parking space with a 7.5kW EV Pod point. We also have a spare long cable should you need however please do bring your own. We must know in advance of your stay if you require this. It is a chargeable service and payable on site. Charging is only allowed overnight.

I want to book the hot tub (over 8s only)

Due to the Health & Safety regulations for the management of hot tubs, this facility is used under specific terms and conditions here. Water testing and treatment is vital and will need to occur during your stay not just at the start. We have an incremental set charge for up to 4 nights, 7 nights, or a 2 week stay. This is payable in advance or at the time of arrival but before any use.

I want to book a breakfast hamper for my stay

To enhance your stay we offer a locally sourced ‘breakfast hamper’. There is a set price for this, payable upon arrival. Booking in advance is necessary. We usually load the basket up and also include locally sourced and seasonally produced ingredients which are based around a traditional English breakfast (n.b. including meat and dairy).

I want to book a grown up crafternoon session

For creativity, de-stress, repurpose or recycle type activities we offer a range of options for crafternoons. This can be as a group, or individual. Activities are payable on site. Activities include, but are not limited to : textiles, glass painting, epoxy resin crafts, furniture or small item upcycling, making seasonal items (Christmas, Hallowe’en, Easter etc), mobile or hanging decorations, sun catchers, decorative wooden signage, bird boxes, night lights and lanterns.

I want to book a childs crafting session

In a similar way to the grown ups, we can cater for all ages for crafting – some might be painting little people and making them clothes from our massive range of fabric, ribbons etc, pebble decorating and work with acrylics, air drying clay, collages using flowers, leaves, feathers on site here, making night lights and seasonal items. We can even go to a micro scale and build a mini living garden where you can design your own layout and create it within a tray.

I want to book some outdoor creating or growing activities

There are loads of different seeds to plant, especially wild flowers to be grown amongst our 1000 or so trees planted at the bottom of our site. We also have all sorts of interesting bits of wood, stone, flowers and plants. Flower and leaf pressing, making decorative trees and hangers, collages with feathers, painting outdoor items, planting in hanging pots, you name it…And our edible garden needs supporting too so dividing clumps of herbs, planting fruit and veg, (or picking them!) is all possible. As with the usual British weather however, a lot of this kind of activity is subject to weather conditions and time of year. We have a large outdoor potting table but can also accommodate for some activities indoors in the same way as other arts and crafts.

I want to book the gaming barn as well as the cottage

The gaming barn is currently free to use whilst we are still completing works in the back part of the space, however it will be a bookable resource in due course and is suitable for all ages. HOWEVER, ALL children under 10 must be supervised in here, (it’s ok parents as there is a wine chiller, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc in there too!). We have darts, pool, snooker, air hockey table, table football, Sega retro gaming console with around 3000 games on, Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, Rock Band hero, giant connect 4, giant dominoes, high chair, play pen, large activity table and train set, and 5G wifi in there, full size table tennis table, noughts and crosses, other board games, all of the sensory lighting and sounds, and the busy board for ASD. The booking costs for this is simply to cover power, lighting and heat used, and any damages or losses of gaming bits. It is a facility we want you to enjoy and take advantage of. This means the booking, like the hot tub, is a set price depending upon length of stay. We have done it this way as not all guests want to use it, and therefore would not want to pay for something they are not going to use.
